A family business leader in its field

Founded in 1956 by André Frei, the company André Frei & Fils SA which became a public limited company in the year 2000, has established itself as a main actor in the manufacture of collets for barfeeders and revolving end-pieces.

Today it is managed by Christian Frei, son of the founder, with the involvement of the third generation since 2013 when Nicolas Frei joined the company, followed by Caroline Frei in 2017.

Thanks to its know-how and a constant search for innovation, the company continues its expansion by exploring new markets. It now exports its products in more than 40 countries around the world.

Specialized in the manufacture of collets and revolving end-pieces for bar loaders of all brands (LNS, FMB, Traub, Iemca, Tornos, Bechler…), André Frei & Fils SA owns also a metrology department that produces measuring devices under its own brand Tavannes and Sabi, both acquired in 1996.

In addition to its star products, the company offers a wide variety of tool parts for cam machines including telexflex cables, pushrods, clamping toggles, toes and screws, tungsten carbide toes, etc.

A third department is dedicated to the manufacturing of cams for different types of machines.
